Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
Overview
PagePulse ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how PagePulse handles information when you use our Chrome extension.
Data Collection
PagePulse does not collect, store, or transmit any user data.
All analysis is performed entirely within your browser (client-side). No data is sent to any external server, including our own.
Permissions
PagePulse requests the following browser permissions:
- activeTab — Allows PagePulse to analyze the currently active tab when you click the extension icon. This permission is only active during your explicit interaction.
- scripting — Allows PagePulse to inject the analysis script into the current page to evaluate SEO, performance, accessibility, structure, and AI optimization factors.
PagePulse does not use host_permissions and cannot access any page without your explicit action.
Third-Party Services
PagePulse does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Data Storage
PagePulse does not store any data locally or remotely. Each analysis is performed in real-time and results are displayed only in the extension popup. Closing the popup discards all results.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
